Every culture has it's Romeo and Juliet fables. Thus Guam has it's "Two Lovers Point". To cut the story to the basics: girl and boy love each other, girl promised to some overbearing, lecherous male, both girl and boy kill themselves instead of living to plot a overthrow of the current governmental order thereby freeing themselves and all others from such unjust treatment and making for a great Steven Segal movie. (I think these legends are crap.) Oh, I think they renamed it from Leap to Point since leap sounded so horrible and did not flow with a beautiful romantic tale. It has a nice view though. I'm sure the two thought "WOW, what a view". Then they got a close up of those rocks at the bottom. (September 2000)
