This key generator will create a registration code for the door game Wizard's
Arena by Douglas Summers.

To generate a registration code, run the DOS executable file "WIZREG.EXE".
Enter the BBS name exactly as it is used in the door. An 8-character
registration code will be generated.

Entering the code into the game depends upon the version you are using. For
version 1.37, a configuration file named "CONFIG.WA" will already exist. Open
this file with any text editor and locate the two lines starting with:

BBSNAME =
REGISTRATION =

Edit the appropriate lines to contain the BBS name used in the code generator
and the code which was provided. The game will now be registered.

The method for other versions depends on the particular version you have
installed. Some will enter the code within the game, others at a special
command line. See the SysOp documentation for your installation.

NOTE: The executable files in version 1.37 (and likely others) are compressed
with the Digital Mars OPTLINK linker. This results in considerably slower
load and execution times when compared to normal executable files. UNP may be
used to expand the game's main executable ("WIZARD.EXE") and maintenance
utility ("WA-UTIL.EXE") for noticeably faster performance even on modern
systems.
